FRITZ handle was designed by a German Count to make cane use by the arthritic sufferer more comfortable.
  • Weight capacity: 250 lbs
  • Height: approx 36-37"
  • Solid wood handle and shaft
  • Replacement rubber tip: 18mm
How to use:
  • Walking
    • Proper use will increase stability and balance while walking or standing
    • Cane is used on the opposite side of your injury or weakness
      • regardless of which hand is your dominant one
    • Put all of your weight on your unaffected leg
    • Step with affected leg and cane at the same time a comfortable distance forward
    • Support weight on both the cane and the affected leg
    • Step through with your unaffected leg
  • Handle Height
      Height of the cane is important to be able to make arm act as another limb
    • Keep elbow slightly bent
    • A 90 degree angle means the cane is too tall
    • Conversely if the arm is straight the cane is to short
      • This makes use of the cane difficult
  • Walking Position:
    • It is important to have good posture when using a cane
